Eyewitnesses reported that the channel was hacked, broadcasting unauthorized content before it abruptly disappeared. A message appeared on the channel, stating, 'This channel was removed because it violated our community guidelines.'
The network responded swiftly, implementing temporary measures to ensure uninterrupted access to their content. The Kapamilya Online Live channel is now accessible via the ABS-CBN Facebook page and the official iWant YouTube channel. 'It's Showtime' can also be watched on its Facebook account and GMA Network's social media pages.
Additionally, news and current affairs shows like 'TV Patrol' and 'Tao Po' are available on the ABS-CBN News YouTube channel. Live streaming is also available through the 24/7 feed of the Kapamilya Channel in the Philippines, accessible via the iWant app.
Despite the temporary setback, ABS-CBN Entertainment assured viewers that they are working to restore access to the channel. In a previous incident in November 2020, the network faced a similar challenge when the YouTube channels of ABS-CBN News and ANC were compromised, leading to extended periods of inaccessibility.
